I’m from the Netherlands and I can confirm that it is true that we don’t like it if people say ‘how are you?’ instead of hello without wanting to know the an#s&rew8230;. But that every waiter in Amsterdam fucking hates you? Not too sure about that. And I think in generals waiters are not that friendly in cities that are flooded by tourists.
